Make It Yourself Monday: LETTERS

Are you looking for a cute way to include your initials, a word, phrase, last name, etc. into your wedding? Well then, why not try out these these cute and easy to create cardboard letters. These letters can be purchased at your local craft store, such as Joann's or Hobby Lobby.

Letter Supplies:
-Letter or Letters
-Fabric
-Paint
-Glue
-Paint brush
-Ribbon

Step one- Pick out the letter, word or initials you want to use and gather your supplies!

Step two- Decide if you want to use paint or fabric. Decided on paint well grab your paint brush and paint color and paint about 3 coats or until it reaches the color you want. The next step is optional, but I think it adds a cute touch, grab some ribbon or lace and glue it along the edges of your letter.

Step three- So you didn't decide on paint, but you choose to go with fabric. You then want to pick a fabric or multiple fabrics depending on how many letters. Next you take your glue (I think the spray glue works best) and spread it on the cardboard were you want to start wrapping your letter.

You will continue to wrap the fabric using your glue and scissors, if you need to cut it at all. I found it best to put my seam on the back of the letter so people cannot see it.

Then let the paint or glued fabric dry and you are good to go!!!

After your wedding is over you can use them in your house as a decoration. What do you think of the fabric and paint letters? Would you use them in your wedding or put them up in your house? Let me know your thoughts?
